Beginning with a human-centric needs, we successfully transformed a40,131 square foot Assisted Living Facility into a state-of-the-art Residential Treatment Facility for drug and alcohol abuse treatment.
Our comprehensive approach encompassed extensive interior and exterior renovations, including the construction of a new 926 square foot addition, to foster a therapeutic and welcoming environment. Key elements of the project included the redesign of the site to feature outdoor lounges, covered pavilions, and recreational amenities, the installation of fencing for privacy and security, and the preservation and enhancement of the exterior building envelope with a mix of existing brick veneer and new fiber cement siding.
Energy efficiency was a priority, addressed by installing thermally broken aluminum storefront windows and upgrading building systems and lighting. Inside, the layout was reconfigured to include various group spaces and resident lounges, a fully equipped gym, and a modern kitchen, all designed to support the residents' therapy, socialization, and physical well-being. The design was completed with a focus on calming colors and aesthetics to create a tranquil atmosphere conducive to healing and recovery.
